You breath deeper, more lung compasity? Been reading Dr. Jensen's book 'World Keys to Health & Long life' good book. He's fond of high altitude living as well.

You guys are getting more creative with each video. I see the visit with Markus has left an indelible mark upon your budding cinematic souls. Today was a bit of David Lynch and a touch of Ingmar Bergmann with interjections from Classic Batman 60's TV (those knock your socks off special effects! Pow!) I'm also glad you set us and the horses straight on your views of polyamory (I guess bestiality is a topic for future roundtable discussions). Do you have any raw rancher friends you will be visiting in the area? If these comments seem extra silly, it might have something to do with the Cacoa Bliss I put in my morning smoothie, and the vicariously thin air I'm breathing. Wow! Your videos really are having a pronounced effect on my state of mind!

I literally jumped out of my seat from that! I feel sorry for someone wearing headphones cos that was pretty loud in comparison to the normal audio level lol.

So why would you live longer?

It's because something called the 'hormesis effect'. It's basically a low intensity stressor increases your resistance to DNA damage by up regulating various repair enzymes that repair the DNA. There are many other effects as well though. Just look up hormesis. CR as I mentioned before is just one example of a low intensity stressor to the body. Hormesis is also activated by polyphenols also found in plant foods (Xenohormesis).

I loaned the book out, but, Peter R agnar mentions in his book ,How Long Do You Choose To Live, why living in higher altitudes or the mountains is so good for you.

breath is life force if you dont breath deeply that equals less life force.
As a yogi/dancer I was suprised at how shallow people breath was when I first started teaching.
Also the pollution is in the air will take away that life force energy and people who live in fast paced polluted cities tend to hold their breath when there stressed.

Hey Matt- met you and Angela today at Tonic bar!! I was the girl with crazy hair. I moved to Boulder from Florida, sea level to a mile high and I have noticed a huge difference in my health since I moved here- whenever I go anywhere else I feel like an Olympian :) Going to Tonic for oxygen sessions helps me cope- did you ever find the juice bar? I hope so... Boulder needs a raw restaurant, or at the very least an all organic juice bar, I'm so surprised we don't have one - it's Boulder!!! Enjoy your time here :)
