So wish I were there to help you with those persimmons. Here in Hawaii, they're done already. By the way those in the box are fuyus. Definitely the best food ever.

You could always dry them and take them on the road with you.
I have heard that Maimonides said that shouldn't eat more than two persimmons a day, although I'm not sure why... maybe the sugar.
Hey why are u guys living in a warehouse?

Persimmons! What to do? You can put them in a blender and add a liquid of choice blend away and then freeze it for later consumption. Your fruit doesn't go bad, when you are on the run you have a wonderful frozen quick treat. Don't want BHT plastic for freezing your delicious treat? Use a glass and cover with wax paper and a rubber band. You can even add chia seeds or flax to your drinks. Now to try persimmons!!

You mix them with your apples instead of using (expensive and dry) mulberries, of course!!

IS THAT NOT OBVIOUS?!?!

And if any leftovers – dry them (and use instad of dry mulberries in the future. :-9

I'm living in Korea right now and I can't believe I went my whole life without eating frozen persimmons. They wash them, freeze them and when they want to eat them they take them out of the freezer, cut them up and eat them like Popsicles!

OH MY GOSH!!!! I love persimmons and I now I love frozen persimmons too!

I believe sugar causes fermentation in the body. Disease feeds off these sugars. Lemons, avocado, white grapefruits, and tomatoes are the only fruits I consume. But that's me.

i agree with Hermit. sweet fruit is no good for you. brian clement says it, dr robert young too, and many others. i haven't eaten sweet fruits for 4 months now and i feel a whole lot better than i used to. beware 'raw food' treats, don't create an acidic environment...

also... what about food combination? carbs (=apples) + protein (=tahini)? isn't that the first rule: eat fruit alone or leave it alone? apples need 30 minutes to leave the stomach, whereas tahini needs about 3-4 hours, therefore you create a lot of fermentation and therefore gas?? what about your gas theory? i'm confused, pls help!! :-)

According to Dr.Young, combining sugar/starch or sugar/protein is a major cause of the formation of sticky mucus. (see "The PH Miracle", pgs. 102-105)

This won't work in reality, that is what I suppose.
