Thank you, both! This is definitely fennel season here in The Land of Israel. I don't think I've tried juicing it though. There are some great fennel salads to do. A fellow raw fooder of mine makes it with apples for Shabbat.

While in Portland, you should shop at People's Co-op on SE 21st. Go on Wednesday when the farmer's market is happening. Should find some nice spring greens, nettles, mushrooms, etc. People's also has a dedicated raw foods section. There are many raw foodists that shop there. While you are there check out the cob structures, living roof, bottle wall, etc. Will provide some inspiration as you dream of your home.
