Hey! I would love to see some more of your quick food preparing/eating, what you guys eat regularly. I know Angela posts nearly daily what she consumed and that helps , too. But seeing it is more fuuun and gives a motivational kick to do it ,too.
And yay, I gotta read rawemotions, cause I guess I gotta learn something there...Love to you guys and thanks again sooo much, Stephj

We like you guys but some episodes you give no content other than following you in your walks and wonderings. Not really interesting when time is an issue. We need at least an advice, new or repeated, but at least a tip for the day.

Enough of just going to the market and hearing people saying they like you, we know that otherwise we wouldn't watch you!!!

I agree with mom! More tips and recipes for healthy living! I am about 70% raw and would like to go more. I also agree with Matt, when a person is used to a specific healthy diet and then goes off of the diet the immune system can become taxed and more susepyible to germs and viruses. So if your mom became sick it could have been because she picked up a cold that she wouldnt have if she would have stuck to her regular diet. But I agree that it is very hard especially when you arent 100% raw to not be tempted by cooked foods and some that maybe arent the best choices, bring stuff with you that you know is safe and meditate on your feelings and be concious of why you are eating what you are. Is it because you cant control the craving or are you rewarding your self, find other rewards than food. Anyway that's what works for me :) All the best, Bina.

Ah, resisting temptation...the dilemma as old as life itself.

A tip a day is a great idea! Good job mom. Love the show. Gives me inspiration each day and keeps me on track. Thanks for all your hard work.

I think your mom has a great point. I have been waiting to hear more about the spiritual aspects of being raw, in more detail. Remember.......Spirit Saturdays???

I like Mom's idea of having more tips.

I only found you show a week or so ago and have loved the episodes at raw cafes, farmer's markets, etc. but I do think a tip or two in each would be great.

Thanks for the inspiration.

Mom (love her) still lives, in part in the old country (old mindset) of how we get sick. My husband is sneezy, stuffy and scratchy right now. He's been eating out of his normal range in the past week. When I guide him back on track his "illness" subsides and does not blow out of control.

When are the East Coast events going to be posted?
I heard NY which is exciting to me.

Good to see your mom again.
Angela and your mom get along well?
Thanks

Well mom should know, if she was eating well, her immune system would of been able to fight off anything she might of caught on the cruise...

And yes a tip of the day would be very welcome.

Matt I think your mom's spot on. In the intro jingle it says you've got "tips and recipes for healthy living". So it would be great to have more of that! Not that finding the balloon man in every farmers market isn't interesting.....lol ;)
Always appreciate you and Angela's sense of humor!

Jess

I'd love to hear your tips too.

While you're in SoCal you should go to the Santa Monica farmer's market. So beautiful! It's on Wednesdays and Saturdays. http://www01.smgov.net/farmers_market/

I totally agree with your mom. You have so much to share with us, but we're not getting any useful information we can apply to our daily lives. I believe you have conquered an aspect of the human condition and we wish to follow in your footsteps. Continue to be the joyful and playful being you are..

I think Mom is right "a tip a day keeps the doctor away" U don't have to change or take away anything, just add a tip.

Love you guys

Mama knows BEST! I'd love a tip--but that might not be as much fun for you guys! I like the spontaneous ones too.

I don't know what to do about temptation--other than don't beat yourself up when "perfection" is not with you. Sometimes it may be good to step out of your bounds.

Tips are a good idea, and they don't have to be unique to each episode. Sometimes tips that are repeated over and over give motivation and emphasis. If you bring up the ideas that seem important or relevant, the most important ones will natural come up over and over.

Many years ago, my high school crew coach used to talk at length to the team about how consumption of carbonated beverages would damage athletic performance. He didn't have much other dietary advice, except not to stuff yourself on race day. Because this was his pet issue and he mentioned it again and again, the message really stuck with me.

i think a lot of us like the videos where you show more raw foods and raw food products. i LOVE the restaurants too. but my favorite was when you guys were in whole foods and showing how to eat on the road. it was nice to see you guys making raw wraps @ whole foods- it helps us , the viewers, dream about going to our local food markets and making food there too. basically the hands on approach to raw food in your videos is much appreciated. maybe you guys need to do more product reviews and tell us what you thought of the foods you eat at the raw restaruants. inspire us matt! a lot of us need that motivation kick to realize just how fun raw foods are. I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS THO! big kisses to you and your angel goddess :)

Love all the shows whether you two are walking at the farmer's market, trekking through Ecuador or hanging out eating Sproutein, cheesy kale chips, durian or cherries. Agree with those who say they would enjoy seeing a little more of your food preparing and/or eating on the road and some tips would be OK but please don't change the show too much. Love the randomness of it all.

Lovely mother. Your opening song says tips and recipes. Even if it didm't I agree with your mom that it would be great to have a tip and a recipe on each blog. Can't wait to see you both in Tulsa.

The two of you are awesome! I love the show and watch every day. Very inspiring! Yes, mom is right. More tips, more about how to prepare foods. This is my 30th of juice feasting and I'm doing GREAT!!! My goal is to do the complete 92 days. Keep up the excellent work. You both are truly a blessing to this planet.

I love the Raw Food World TV show. I agree with Mom about leaving a tip for all of us.
A suggestion for Mom is to find recipes to make and keep on hand at home desserts that are totally healthy and ready to eat.
A raw Key Lime pie, raw Pumpkin pie, Raw cacao fudge candy, Ice cream, etc. I can tell you it will help.
These are our favorites.
Also how about a raw coconut pie? Yum!!!!

Matt,
Tell your mom that whenever I eat something that's not the best for me, I almost instantly get a sore throat, and here's one better, my underarms start to itch and itch for hours after. Have you ever heard that one?

Matt & Angela, Kathryn on your blog today mentioned some mouth watering desserts. Anyway we can get those recipes?

Wow your mom looks great!!! She seems like she lost a little weight and she looks so happy and vibrant!!! Yes, healing crisis = flu symptoms. To be honest I kind of like the "on the fly" shows that are about updates and inspiration, but I also appreciate the shows where we learn about making energy soup and rejuvelac as well! Keep up the good work!!

I have to say that I have been watching the show daily since day one and was SO excited for daily tips and recipes from THE Matt Monarch. I think I keep watching, hopeing, so I can learn something somewhere and so I can see others out there doing the same thing. It makes me feel less alone in the journey of raw. It's also EXTREMELY entertaining especially the early shows!!! LOVED them. I loved the rejuvelac epi. w/ Angela. I LOVE the shows but you just have to take them ALL as a whole. It's watching the lifestyle not just daily info I suppose. I think your Mom was right on about giving more information on a daily basis. Just a tip for the people. (Oh, the demands of being "famous"!)

I also think your mom looks SUPERB!! : )

Thanks, Matt and Angela for all you do.
Peace.
