Hey Guys...that was hilarious! Perfect material for your brother's stand-up act..."The Perils of Staying in a 4-Star Hotel". I know without asking that there was no raw cacao truffle left on your pillows after the bed was made...but I guess the question was, did they charge you for actually sleeping in the bed and mussing up the towels? Was there the sound of a cash register going KA-CHING with every element of the room you did more than merely look at? (That would make a good sound effect to this segment). You could always stay in my house for free when you're in Portland...I even have an infrared sauna...if you could tolerate the Greek yogurt in the fridge...but I promise, no muffins!

I can't use Hotwire since I travel with my little dog. Best place I ever stayed so far is Studio 6 part of Motel 6. It is like a studio apartment with full kitchen. Windows open up and the ones I have stayed at have nice courtyards perfect for dining or doing some meditation.
Also they only carpet the rooms by the bed and dresser where TV area is.
Can't wait to see you guys back on the East Coast.

I had to smile because I did a road trip to Santa Barbara from Oregon for Raw Spirit Fest and stayed at Motel 6's along the way. All but one was great. I think that raw foodies have a pretty strong independence streak that can't be tamed and only gets stronger!

WOW that whole foods display looked amazing! =)~~~

hahaaa... I used to love staying at 4 & 5 star hotels, but it was on my employers' bill! I used to take all the water, soda, and alcohol out of the fridge and put my stuff in... good times...
